Our Faculty

GERALD BALL

Gerald BallReceived B.S. Degree from Eastern New Mexico University, with a double major (Religion from the Bible Chair and History). Earned a double minor in psychology and education with several courses in counseling. Taught personal work training courses in five different states; teacher training courses in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and California. Began preaching in 1956. Preached eight years at Freetown Rd. in Grand Prairie, 12 years at Airport Freeway in Euless, and has preached at Bedford since 1985.


BILL BURK

Bill BurkGraduated from Brown Trail in 1993. Has engaged in full-time preaching at Rendon and currently at Crandall, Texas church of Christ. He speaks on lectureships and conducts gospel meetings. He and his wife, Julie, have one daughter.


ROBERT DODSON

Robert DodsonRobert is a native of Irving, Texas.  He graduated from the Preston Road School of Preaching in 1978.  He preached two and a half years in Houston, Texas, eight and a half years in Sansom Park, Texas, and 20 years for the Birdville congregation in Haltom City, Texas.  He speaks on a number of lectureships and meetings each year.  He currently preaches for the Northwest congregation in Fort Worth, Texas.


KEN HOPE

Ken HopeReceived his B.S. Degree from Oklahoma Christian University in 1977. Has preached at Centerville Road in Garland, Texas since 1983. Has participated in lectureships, conducted gospel meetings and written for many brotherhood publications. He and his wife, Julie (Ramsey) have four children.


RANDALL MORRIS

Randall MorrisReceived his BSE from Oklahoma Christian College in 1976. He has written for Christian Bible Teacher. Directed the Mabank School of Bible Studies 1986-1988. Was selected as Outstanding Young Men of America in 1984. Has been preaching for approximately 25 years and is now preaching for the Robinson Road church of Christ in Grand Prairie, Texas.


KEN GARDNER

Ken GardnerKen graduated from Brown Trail School of Preaching in 1979 and holds a Master of Science from Texas A&M University, which he received in 1996. He taught at East Texas State University for two years, beginning in 1989. He and his wife Balinda have three sons. He is presently preaching for the Plano East church of Christ in Plano, Texas and is a full time instructor at the school.


PAT MCINTOSH

Pat McIntoshPat is a 1989 graduate of BTSOP. He has an earned B.A., M.S., MDiv from Amridge University (formerly Southern Christian University), Montgomery, Al. He served eight years as Assistant Director with the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, Extensions Program. He coordinated works in Ukraine and Nigeria, and has taught in Ukraine, Nigeria, Tanzania (Arusha and Chimala), India, Panama and Peru. He teaches two classes in Bear Valley's graduate program. He and his wife Cheryl have three children.



RICHARD STEVENS III

Richard Stevens IIIRichard, is a native of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and graduated from Brown Trail School of Preaching in the Summer of 1999. He has served the Hawn Freeway church of Christ in Dallas, Texas, since September of 1998. He has been privileged to speak on many brotherhood events, including local television and radio. He and his wife Angela have six children.



ROBERT STAPLETON

Robert StapletonBob and Marcia have four children, all of whom are faithful members of the church. Heath, the oldest, along with his wife Rebecca and their two children, William and Elizabeth, preaches for the church of Christ in Kountze, Texas. Their second son Darrin, along with his wife Carrie, and their son Jacob and daughter Alana, preaches for the Antioch church of Christ in Ramer, Tennessee. Their third son, Jason, along with his wife Madesha, their children Levan, Layla, Canaan, and Sawyer is working with the Graceton church of Christ, Diana, Texas. Their fourth child, Lisa, is married to J.J. Hendrix, who presently works with the church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. They have two daughters, Addie and Lily

Robert is available for presentations on behalf of Brown Trail, along with fill in preaching appointments for congregations in need of such.
