John Baker works with the Lord's church in Katy, Texas. He is a 2001 graduate of Brown Trail School of Preaching. John has previously worked with congregations in Texas and Louisiana, and he and his family served as missionaries in Tanzania, East Africa. John and his wife Angie have two college aged children: Daniel and Abby.

Bill Burk graduated from Brown Trail School of Preaching in 1993. He received his Bachelor of Theology degree from South African Theological Seminary in 2024. He began full-time preaching with the church in Rendon, Texas, in 1994 and later worked with the church of Christ in Seagoville, Texas. Since 2011, Bill has preached for the church of Christ in Crandall, Texas. He frequently speaks on workshops and lectureships and conducts gospel meetings. Bill has been an instructor at Brown Trail since 1995. He has three daughters and has been married to his wife, Leda, since 2013.

Kevin Langford has served as a minister of the gospel since 1998. Since April 2013, he has worked with the Lewisville Church of Christ in Lewisville, Texas, where he serves as the Worship and Education Minister. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Oklahoma Christian University, along with a degree in Vocational Ministry. Kevin is actively involved in developing future leaders in the church. He has directed a session of church camp at Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp entitled, Reach Week for many years and currently co-directs the Lewisville Preacher Training Camp. Kevin has been married to his wife Susan since August 2003. Together, they have two children, Connor who is entering his sophomore year in High School and Kenzie who is entering the 7th grade.

Preston McElyea serves as one of the ministers for the Mt. Vernon Church of Christ in Mt. Vernon, TX. He is a 2019 graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler and a 2021 graduate of the Brown Trail School of Preaching. In addition to his work with the congregation in Mt. Vernon, Preston works with Camp Ida, the Home of Recovery and Restoration (a men's alcohol/drug addition rehab center), the Lamb's Academy of Biblical Studies, and the S.T.E.P. program at the Brown Trail School of Preaching. Preston and his wife, Autumn, have been married since 2019 and have been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters - Rosalind and Margaret.

Kevin Rhodes is the Executive Director of the Brown Trail School of Preaching, taking the school’s helm in 2018. Kevin is a graduate of Midwest School of Biblical Studies, the University of Central Missouri (B.S. in History), West Texas A&M University (M.A. in History). Tarleton State University (M.A. in Political Science), and West Texas A&M University (M.Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology). He is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program for Biblical Studies at Amridge University. He is the host of the television program Expositions on the Gospel Broadcasting Network and served as the co-editor of Sound Words with His father, Oran Rhodes. He has preached for more than 30 years in Missouri, Alabama, and Texas, preaching for the Granbury Street congregation in Cleburne, Texas for fifteen years. He has done mission work in Cape Town, South Africa and Queretero, Mexico. He conducts gospel meetings, singing schools, and a variety of workshops, addressing marriage, Bible study, leadership, and preaching. He has authored several books that his new publisher, Glad Tidings Publishing, is bringing back into print, including How to Study the Bible: A Practical Guide to Biblical Hermeneutics, What God Hath Joined Together: The Beauty of Christian Marriage, a three-book series for new Christians including Follow Me: A Call to Authentic Discipleship, and is currently writing a series of Old Testament devotional books. He is also editing his translation of the New Testament. Kevin and his wife, Tracy, have been married since 1992 and have two daughters.

Keden Shrum is the pulpit minister for the Rison church of Christ in Rison, Arkansas. A native of Mineral Wells, Texas, he was raised in a preacher's home and delivered his first sermon at age 14. Since entering full-time ministry in 2015, he has worked with congregations in Oklahoma and Arkansas. He is a graduate of the Brown Trail School of Preaching and is continuing his studies with Heritage Christian University. Keden has spoken at lectureships, gospel meetings, and special events across several states. He and his wife, Chandra, have been married since 2002 and have one daughter, Ragan. His background also includes works in law enforcement, the oil field, and ranching.
